May from Honeydew Syndrome

May is the main(?) character from Nuu's webcomic! I actually read it a long time ago.. forgot about it... found it again and was surprised/happy to see that there are new pages, hahaha~
Anyway, I like her characters and the story so far~ I think that they're all pretty stylish! I always wished that I could draw more stylish people...
I just realized that the pink I used here is almost the same as the pink I used in the Fake picture I did last year. STRANGE since May's pic is colored mainly in oC, while the Fake pic was colored in PS...
Maybe I'm just hung up on that particular shade?? Compression destroys the pic, as usual
Fun facts:
- iris size is much huger than what I normally draw because he has really dark eyes in the comic!
- I was influenced by Akira and tempted to put argyle pattern on his sweater but I think I got too lazy to render that pattern in oC
- It says something fun on the bracelet(?)
- bg pattern is something strange I found in my pattern brushes that I made a long time ago (I don't know what I ever used it for..)
