This was kind of brutal for me because I kept adding more and more characters the day before the deadlne. Luckily I got it done ON TIME :D!! I had a lot of problems trying to get the lighting consistent.. or even the shadows. Heck it probably isn't totally consistent, but I tried my best for sure!!!
Wineberry's face gave me soooooo many problems, I probably redid it 10 times before I could get it to look halfway decent. At first she was suppose to be laughing out loud at Unedo, but the more I looked at her the more she looked like THE JOKER (I swear it's the lip color + my horrible manly-style that makes this combo.. ) and I couldn't let that slide TAT. Redo redo redo till it's ok.
PS crashed when I was coloring the trees! EVIL made me lose some tree-work but overall I don't think that even I can tell the difference cause trees are so random for me. Another tree background! I ALWAYS END UP DRAWING FORESTS!! Well in this case it partially makes sense, but overall I don't really know what Haven looks like, so I just put lots of trees (since I know it's a forest kind of city). Not like forests growing outside of tennis courts in the mountains! For the record, birch trees are my tree of choice to draw! I like the white trunks compared to generic brown stalks. Plus I think I overuse brown in many cases and it's just too much. I actually used lots of magical shaped brushes that came with PS to do the leaves... luckily you can't tell O_O I didn't use the leaf brushes in such a way that you can tell I used them, I guess XD. There was also a fluffy ball brush that made me think of sea urchins or marimo.
Curly hair is my weakness.. in this case I might've overcurled the hair to compensate for my lack of curly-hair-drawing-skills. No wonder I don't have any curly haired characters!! Unedo turned out the best, since he was the first to be drawn and colored. I like that his skin tone shows a lot of depth too! Gradient hair is a bit evil to do though!
mini wolf doesn't make sense <3. My brother hates it when I draw Unavisi. He says "THE HORN PEOPLE AGAIN NO WHYY!!!!!!!". Silly rabbit!
Well overall I think it's a happy shiney picture :D. I'm glad that Kendre liked it, cause I had a nice time working on (most of) it!
